i'm ready for the long weekend!!
not that i have big plans 
. i soo don't feel like working today. our office will close at 12nn tomorrow so we only get 1/2 day of work! woohoo! DH & I will just stay in town this weekend since we've been out of town for the past couple of weekends. Saturday, we have a gtg with DH's family at his sister's house to celebrate my birthday. we're having a buschel of blue crabs (my fave!). we'll probably just do house stuff for the rest of the weekend (unless we get last minute invites from friends). we just had additional cabinets installed so we'll probably reorganize our stuff.

I think I get tomorrow off too. MH invited friends over for dinner tomorrow. He calls and says they are coming (fine - it's our "turn" to host this couple) but he said "I thought we could do a BBQ type menu, but I figured lasagna would be easier for you." ummmmm, what?! One requires nothing from me and the other requires assembling a meal. Whatever - lasagna does sound good.
then - Saturday - YAY for college football!! I'm pretty sure I will be going to watch a loosing game in the rain, but I'm sooooooo stinking excited anyways. Football/tailgating is my favorite!
I don't have much planned....aside from more painting. MH and I have lived in this house for nearly 3 years and I haven't had time to nest. So, color is going on the walls room by room. I've got to finish my stepson's room before he comes over on Saturday, which feels a little daunting. Not much left to do, but knowing I HAVE to be done so he can sleep in there on Saturday night adds pressure.
Tomorrow I work in the AM, fiddle around early afternoon, and have a 4pm hair client. Saturday I've got hair clients as well, and Sunday evening we're having another couple over for a BBQ. Should be pretty chill!
