my sister's place back in MI got broken into this morning..sometime between 9 and 10:45 am...they busted through the sliding glass doorwall and took their TV and a ton of other stuff. they're freaked out..it's a neighborhood that none of the neighbors can remember when anyone has ever been robbed...this stuff freaks me out, especially when it happens in broad daylight like that. it's times like this that i wish I was back in MI so I could be there to support them

My parents house was broken into when I was in high school. It was the middle of the night, but sort of a similar situation, it was really awful. I hope she's ok- I definitely remember how scary it was. My parents had an alarm system installed the next day, and I know that made me feel a ton safer.

I'm sorry to hear about your parents house...I feel so bad being so far away and not being able to do anything. She is fine...she was baby sitting my parents' dog at the time who is a crazy barker. we are thinking they had to have kicked her or something to get her to stop barking...also her cat was hiding in the basement and wouldn't come out all day. They got a TV, ipod, brand new brooks running shoes, guitar, xbox, xbox games and controllers, and cell phone/charger stolen. the back sliding door was shattered. i just can't even imagine.

homeowners insurance should cover most of the stuff I hope how terrible!!! definitely sending my T&Ps! much love to you and yours!
