As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

**SPIDER PIP** omg 90% sure we just found a hobo spider in garage...

it was huge and sicko and now i'm scared to go to sleep. but at least it was in our garage. but ew. why does there have to be poisonous things in this world???

  • How big was it? I think hobos are BIG. I think you can submit the photo to one of the universities here and they can identify it for you. Good pic though! Wink

  • um i would say 3-4 inches long including his legs. it was so sick. i'm going to have to look into submitting it for identification. i dont want to go into our garage now :(

  • ps - should we be calling the bug man? we have a lot of storage in our garage so now i'm all worried that there are hobo spiders in everything (our xmas stuff, etc)

    DH says no because "it's oregon, there are hobo spiders here" and it's true they aren't very aggressive...but still......EEEEEEK
