So excited for college football!!

I am so excited for college football.  I'm kind of down because I have a wedding today, so I'm going to miss a lot of the big games.  I am more excited for college this year.  Is it weird that I would rather go to a taping of college game day live and a big game instead of a real vacation?   :)

I'm not an alum of one of these big schools, so I don't have a team that I'm really that loyal too, but I just love watching it all.  Who's your team?

Re: So excited for college football!!

  • I have a lot of favs to watch. My list includes Bowling Green (DH's alumni), Navy, Penn State, Appalachian State, Tennessee (My alumni), Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, and MTSU.

  • I know what you mean NJ. I didn't go to one of the big schools either. I married into the Gator Nation and enjoy watching those games. I love watching the SEC games.

  • College football is my FAVORITE. I love watching all the games - especially the big ones. I tend to root for the underdogs and pull for the 'big upsets'. I cheer for any team that plays OU and I'm a loyal and true fan to Oklahoma State - I attended school there and I was raised in a family that bleeds OSU orange. Win or lose, I will always wear my orange the day before, the day of, and the day after the games (same goes for basketball season). Go Pokes!

  • Oklahoma State is my alma mater - I cheer rowdy and loud every single weekend they play. I got to go to the OSU-Georgia game yesterday and had a blast!

H is a Texas fan, so I cheer for them [except for when they play OSU, and especially when they play OU]. I'm a Big 12 girl and don't really venture beyond these borders...but I love big rivalries, regardless of the conference!
