Need Reviews and Recommendation
Hello ladies,
I hope everyone is having a great holiday. Well we are trying to book a cruise for our 1 year Anniversary.
If you know about cruises and destinations can you give your recommendations.
We want to go to Carribean, so i want to hear what cruise line is the best and what places are the best.
Thanx,
Rita
Re: Need Reviews and Recommendation
I have been on Royal Carribean twice and it has been great both times. I have seen both the western and eastern carribean. Both voyages take you to Royal Carribean's Private Island Labadee. It is my favorite place!! I also like Royal because it has a good mix of ages. You have both young and old passangers. I have heard from friends that Carnival is more tailored to younger crowd. I like an aqual balance because I don't like to feel like I am at a frat party while on vacation. I have also heard tha Royal's ships are more elegant than than the Carnival ships. I have heard good things about Norweign. I like that they have freestyle dining where you don't have to eat dinner at a pre-set time. You can just go when you want to.
I hope this helps!
I have also heard good things about Royal! Haven't been on a cruise myself though in over 10 years...
Oh and I have family members that swear by Princess Cruises.
HTH
I did the Eastern Caribben with Princess Cruiselines (engagement cruise) and the Western with Royal Caribbean (honeymoon) - I loved Royal Caribbean, awesome service and beautiful ship. Princess was very nice, and the food was superior than RC but it's for an older crowd...which is nice, but just remember that their shows suck, and they don't have good nightlife activities... if you don't mind that, then it's worth it.
We want to do the Southern Caribbean and want to try NCL - which I have heard good things about it... good luck!!!
I've been on about 50 cruises and some of my favorite cruise lines are Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Stay far, far, far, FAR away from Carnival!
Yes, Princess & Celebrity have an older crowd, but my husband and I had a great time because we were there to spend time with each other and not meet people. The last cruise we took was the Caribbean Princess doing the Eastern Caribbean route - we had a fantastic time.
