Fall decorations?

Is it too early to start decorating for fall??  I have seen so many beautiful mums and fall decor out at the stores... and I love decorating for fall, so I am anxious to get moving!

Re: Fall decorations?

  • IMO- No! It already feels like fall so I say go for it :o) Once the kids go back to school and the Halloween candy comes out I don't know how anyone could judge you for being too early.

  • sounds good to me!  Now I gotta get out the rubbermaid totes from the basement!
  • I decorated yesterday. :) I just need to go to the store and buy mums to plant in my garden.

  • The weather is definitely changing so it's starting to feel like fall. I usually don't decorate until the middle/end of September, but I'm in denial that summer is coming to an end!
  • Go for it!  I think I'm going to do my house this weekend. I usually don't decorate this early but I was going through my holiday stuff a couple weeks ago looking for anything I wanted to get rid of for a yardsale.  Going through everything reminded me how many cute things I have, so now I want to put it all up :)
  • I say go for it! Decorating is all about what makes YOU feel happy!  For me, I LOVE summer, so I tend to leave those up as long as possible, but if fall decorations are what does it for you, by all means do it!  I mean hey, my mom loves Christmas, and there are snowflakes and Santa Claus decorations all over her house from basically Thanksgiving to Valentine's day :)
  • I decorated one year on September 1 so I say go for it.  I'll probably pull my fall stuff out this weekend!  I love fall.
