Mommies - Baby Skin ?

Noah has eczema and it flares up every now and then. ?When it gets really bad, I suck it up and put Rx hydrocortizone on it. ?Do any mommies on here have this issue with the kiddos? If so, what have you tried and how well did it work?

TIA?

Re: Mommies - Baby Skin ?

  • I had eczema as a kid--that stinks!  I seem to remember aloe vera helping some?  None of my kiddos have it, though dd1 has these funky bumps that she get, but our ped said it wasn't eczema.  Isn't there some oil you can put on it too?
  • I don't have a baby, but I used to babysit for a family that had a little girl who had bad ezcema. Regardless if she was having a flair, after every bath they would put on Cetaphil lotion. It's so gentle but moisturizing that it helped.
  • Thanks girls...

?I've been using a few different things. I think so far Jojoba & Tea Tree Oil has helped the most, but I just wish I could find something that would just get rid of it all together...?

  • I have had good luck with California baby products. I use the calming body wash and moisturizing lotion for my baby.
