I hope everyone had a wonderful 3 day weekend 
Friday evening we had my Aunt's 50th Birthday dinner which was very nice (Thanks Sharon for organizing it!). I even got to spend some precious time with my Goddaughter with 20+ people all wanting her attention.
The rest of the weekend DH and I spent up at his family's cabin.... it was really remote, which was nice, and it was so gorgeous and cold (we had a fire going all weekend which was so nice and cozy)...however it was a little too remote for me... and getting there was another story, I have an "SUV" (um it's a Lexus so ya not quite "sport utility" lol) and climbing like 6 miles at steep inclines on unpaved, unmanaged roads with rocks, tree's, streams, and tree trunks was fabulously mortifying- but we survived!

We had a really good weekend. Our friends were here and it turned out a lot better then I thought it would have. We didnt do a whole lot on Saturday, but on Sunday we went to Lake Pleasant. I loved it there (though it was super rocky... which kind of stunk). Then we played apples to apples that night. I absolutely LOVE that game..
Today, Will has to go get his one year old shots. We had to postpone them at his appointment because he was sick. Yuck! I am not looking forward to it. Then when we get home, the Pest Control Guy is coming! Tomorrow.. Chad has to have his two canines taken out... *sigh* Is it Saturday yet?

I had an up and down weekend. Saturday was great. I went apple picking with Julie and another friend, and made some apple desserts. It was a really really good day.
Then Sunday and Monday weren't that great. We're having some family drama right now, and it's really got me in an emotional rut.
But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this week goes well.
It's audit week, and in the accounting world, this is like game day.
Good morning!! My weekend was good. It was SO nice having that extra day to relax.
Friday DH and I went out for some drinks at the Kona Grill in Chandler then had dinner at BJ's...mmmm it was delicious!
Saturday I can't remember what we did...oh wait..it rained and was shiitty all day, that's right!!!! I as pissed and bored so we went to the Outlets in Anthem. We weren't too overly impressed but it was still fun.
Sunday we went to the Old Town in the Superstition Mountains...that was cool!
And yesterday we went to the Dback's game. They lost but we got to see Manny get thrown out in the 3rd inning, I think. That was fun! hehe

I was mostly a bum this weekend. Saturday was my biggest moment of excitement when I decided at 9 in the morning that I wanted to drive up to Wickenburg and pick apples. (I'd read about it in the paper). I called up some girlfriends, so Jaye, another friend and I headed up there. It was a little rainy, but I think that just added to the adventure. All together we picked 28 lbs of apples (!!), so we each had about 9 lbs to take home.
Seriously, the rest of my weekend consisted of sitting around on the couch with MH and cooking apple-related foodstuffs. Pie, tarts, spiced applesauce. I think I've had about a years worth of apples in a week. Oh, and I got to hang out with my brother and nephew!
Hey, Dodger fan here and I really dont like Manny but I was kinda happy too. Juan Pierre is better and is a really good player. But it wasnt cool that J. Martin got hit by the Dbacks pitcher Scherzer, not cool.

It was a totally lazy, relaxing weekend for us. Saturday night we went out to dinner with a couple friends at the Saddle Ranch in Scottsdale. Sunday and Monday all kinda run together... it involved a lot of watching movies, cleaning, and a little baking. Good times. It was nice, though.

We had a nice weekend. I tried to do a lot of walking, but that didn't help. ?We went to this new store in Chandler called Buy Buy Baby. ?It was a pretty nice store. I think the prices were just a tad more than usual. We were looking at strollers and got totally overwhelmed. ?
I don't have much going on today. ?I just keep thinking that I might have a 09/09/09 Baby. ?We shall see!?(I could use some baby vibes, if you can send some my way)?

Morning Ladies! Saturday we went up to Flagstaff to the Coconino County Fair-- it was really small, but not bad, we had a good time. We then went to old town Flagstaff to shop and have drinks at a pub. It was cold up there-- I had on jeans and a 3/4 sleeve flannel and actually had goosebumps, it was great!!! And, despite the fact that it rained all the way there, it only sprinkled on us for a few minutes! Sunday I spent the day making new curtains for the living room and cleaning house, Monday we went to the Dbacks game as well.
Stacy-- I'm sorry I didn't call! We didn't get to the game until the top of the 2nd and left at the bottom of the 8th.
