Carpet Installation

It's been almost 2 months since we installed 700+ square feet of wood laminate ourselves so we're looking to the next project.  Well, I am.  My husband is not quite as ready!

We want to replace the carpet on the stairs, upstairs hallway and a few bedrooms. Of course we're seeking the most economical way to do that.  Does anyone have suggestions of companies that do carpet installation?

We're happy to give our business to a "mom and pop" place. It doesn't have to be Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.

I thought I saw a commercial that Home Depot is doing a $39 installation special this weekend.  I looked on their website, it's only for Stainmaster Carpets, but it is good for the whole house.  If you don't want Stainmaster brand, it's $139 for the whole house.

$39 is an excellent deal on installation.  We looked at Lowe's and Home Depot and they were way too expensive so we went to the Dalton GA Carpet Outlet on Dream Street in Florence.  We were able to purchase a large remnant for cheap and they installed it for a good price.

We just had the stainmaster carpet installed by Lowes (actually a contractor hired through them) and its normally $139, but is on sale for $39.  It covers all the rooms you are having the carpet installed in too.

We used Bush Flooring located off of Dana over in Norwood. ?They did a great job! ?They are VERY affordable and have a great showroom. ?We ended up going with an average carpet for our basement that gets a bit of foot traffic. ?They did a 12x12 space for around $700ish.

we recently recarpeted our family room and used Buddy's.  We looked at every carpet place in NKY and couldn't find another place that had a carpet of the same quality for the price that Buddy's had.

We just had carpet installed in our house.  I bought the carpet from Interweave off Glendale Milford and had Matt C. install.  Interweave is more of a wholesale carpet company and they have a list of recommended installers.  Matt is a friend of a co-worker.  He has been installing carpets for a long time and is a single dad. I would have him install more carpet in a heartbeat!
