What are you reading right now?

I'm having such a great run right now with books!  I'll be so sad once I hit a drought of good reads.

On vacay I read Fourth Comings and started Hunger Games.  Both Fab.  I just finished Perfect Fifths (sigh, bye bye series wah wahhh and am about to start the sequel to Hunger Games - Catching Fire.

You?

  • HG is SO not my usual thing, but I could barely put it down!
  • it's totally not my thing either, considering my personal library is chock-full of danielle steel and chick lit, but neither was the twilight series.

  • I read Hunger Games and Catching Fire last week and really enjoyed them both.  I finished reading Living Dead in Dallas  (#2 of the Sookie books) over the weekend, but it wasn?t very good.

I?m back to reading Voyager (Outlander # 3).  I had to take a break halfway through it because it got too intense for me.  That series gets me all emotionally winded, lol.

  • I'm going to start Lovely Bones as soon as I get a chance. There are so many books on my to-read list!!
  • I'm considering checking out the Sookie Stackhouse books but DH is already going batty at all my books around the house.  My TBR stack is so OOC.

  • I just finished the Sookie Stackhouse series and now am debating whether I want to even bother trying to pick something else up or just wait it out as I'm imaginging I won't have much time for reading soon.

  • about halfway through Fourth Comings and will read Perfect Fifths after that.  After those I have both Tori Spelling books to read unless I find something more exciting before starting them, which is likely!
  • Right now I'm reading Time Traveller's Wife. Sloppy Firsts is on it's way from swaptree!
  • I just finished Time Traveler's Wife and loved it- so much better than the movie!  I'm reading Along for the Ride right now- eh.  I just ordered Hunger Games though and I'm super excited for it to come.

5dogs- def stock up on books.  When baby is crying or just won't sleep at night you can read over her shoulder!

It's okay so far, but I'm only 1/3 of the way in. I read Cocktails for Three and thought it was kind of boring and predictable; this one seems to be better.

  • Another one for Catching Fire here. I'm trying to read it slowly because I don't want it to be over and have to wait for Book 3!!!!
  • I read Catching Fire over the weekend and now I am in the middle of Barrel Fever by David Sedaris and The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray, the 3rd book in the Gemma Doyle trilogy.

The Last Lecture is so good! I cried like a baby because the author is a hella nerdy engineer like my DH.

I'm still trying to get through Prep

  • read catching fire over the weekend.  trying to finish up the omnivore's dilemma, which has been quite eye-opening so far, and not too hard to read as far as non-fiction goes.  from here on out, i'll be reading school stuff exclusively.
  • You don't want to know.  I'm reading the Duggars: 20 and couting.  lol  My friend lent it to me to read.  It's actually pretty interesting.  I also have The Welsh Girl on my list to read next.
