Reputable Apt Search
Hey all! I am in the North Miami Beach area and I wanted to know if you knew of any reputable apartment hunting sites. Craigslist for S. FL is the pits. Rent.com and others are only going to give you managed communities, which are not a very good deal down here. I am looking for a condo (or similar) in Sunny Isles, Aventura, North Miami Beach area.

you have Collins, then Harding, then Dickens, and then Wayne Avenue ... so it's 4 blocks from the beach... and 74th Street. it's a little island that is called Parview Point ...
71st Street is the street that takes you to Miami ... where it becomes 79th Street on the Miami side.
I actually used a realtor to find our condo in Aventura. I was also wedding planning and was too stressed to search 1 million websites to find a place.
Perhaps try going that route? I honestly don't know how much it cost me, but it ended up being a life saver. He would search for condos and I would search as well on my down time. Then he would take us to go see about 5 in one day (something that would have been very difficult to arrange if I was doing the searching myself and had to deal with all those different realtors).

I also used a realtor to find out apartment in Miami Lakes, she looked everywhere for us, Brickell, Downtown, the beach etc. It might be good to use one just because they can search different options for you.
Have you tried looking on www.Realtor.com under rent?
