I have, 3 years ago for a wedding. the rooms are rather motel-esque, and the pool isn't great, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep it is probably ok.

I haven't stayed there in a while after having a bad experience. I'm sure the MC is fine though. Good proximity to the half location if that's what you are looking for.

I've stayed at Monte Carlo. It's a good value for the money. I would stay there again.

monte carlo is one of our favorites.  it's a nice hotel at a moderate price.

the hooters hotel, not so much.  ew.

um... it was probably 4 or 5 years ago. I was playing craps alone (H was playing poker or something) and one of the dealers asked me my name. When I told them they asked if it was my stage name.

p.s. treasure island is aiight.  nothing spectacular but I know they usually have cheap rooms.

 Perhaps it was the 6" heels and latex outfit now that I think back...

Really, it was most upsetting because I complained to management and they weren't very concerned.

I'll second Treasure Island. I wouldn't stay there for any reason except that the rooms are nice and its within walking distances to my favorite hotels that aren't in my budget.
