Re - Photos, Elvis wedding, various issues
Hi, my wedding is in October and I have still to book a limo, meal at night, hair and make-up, photographer- not much !!
Do you recommend any? Glam squad - Lori seems to get good reviews and 720?
Airbrush or not?
Also I am from the uk and normally the photographer lets you have the cd of all photos taken on the day. I have been quoted $300 for 24 on a CD for 3 hours work - 8 an hour seems VERY slow and pricey for a cd. I want an album too but I want to put all my photos on a digital photo frame to show at my wedding celebration party back home. What is normal practice in the US.
I am also trying to book some shows Jersey Boys and Phantom but I cant email Palazzo or Venetian - does anyone know their direct email. We are staying there and I cant get through and it would be too expensive to call.
We are getting married at Graceland - which Elvis would you recommend Leather, Rhino, Hawaii? Also any song recommendations - all my favourites are not really appropriate for a wedding - Return to sender, Devil in Disguise,

I used Lori and really liked her. I have had airbrushing done in a different wedding and it was fine. However, my cousin had it done for her wedding and it reacted terribly with her skin.
All photographers are different. My photographers were well over the price you stated, but I got quite a few prints, an album, 2 photographers and they were with us for about 10 hours.
Not sure about the Venetian email address.
Pick a song that means something to you. Are you the one who doesn't consider it appropriate or are you worried about what others will think? Do what you want, it is your wedding.
Have you posted this on the knot? Those girls will probably have the most up-to-date research.

I will post on the Knot - I thought I had but it was very late and I had been several hours printing all my invites for home celebration party. Hubby to be thought it was a good idea to type all names individually - would look better. It takes forever!
Does Lori give a natural look? she does hair too as I want it up and curly but trendy?!
Where did you eat on the night as there will just be the 2 of us. We are looking at Bellagios or Paris or 4 Seasons and then Phantom show, not sure if I should keep my dress on but probably will.

I think that besides my photographer, Lori was the best decision I made. She is just fantastic to work with and wonderful at what she does. I thought she gave me a very natural look. I have naturally curly hair (very spiraly curly) but I usually straighten it. I wanted to have some curls so I but not overboard. She did my hair half up and half down with some soft curls. This sounds lame, and I swear I'm not a crier, but I literally teared up when she finished and I looked in the mirror. I was so happy!!

I own a photography business in Vegas, and it seems to be an?awfully?low price. My normal prices are $1000 for a 6 hour session. Which basically includes the photography, and editing. All your photos on a CD/DVD, and a coffee table album of your favorite 60 shots. We also do some DVD slideshow creations, and a lot of engagement packages.?
I am guessing that photographer will take more then 24 photographs, just including 24 on a CD; So they let you chose which 24 you like best. ?
For make-up i used bella brides. They were a lot cheaper than the other groups that come to you. Here is my review on them from my website

She had great ideas and really worked with me of what i had. She is very on time and showed up at my appointment time on the dot! BTW it lasted forever! I still had lipstick on past dinner, and even though she used light hairspray and like curling my hair is still curly today. I cant even think what would the heavy duty stuff will do!
