Anybody here from Aventura or North Miami Beach? We recently moved to the area and I am looking for some recs on all sorts of different things...

I have so many questions, but I'll limit it to my two most important for now...
Do you wax? If so, where do you go and who do you use? I usually go to European Waxing Center in Plantation but I would rather go somewhere around here if I know of someone good.
I remember you had dogs. Do you groom them? My groomer is in Davie and I would also like to have one around here.
I am still finding out which restaurants are around here and other stuff, but so far I love the area. You really don't have to go very far for ANYTHING you need!
Wax- European Wax Center by 135th (jamba juice plaza)
Grommer- There is one on West Dixie heading north from 163rd, which is good forgot the name.
Oishi Thai in the TGIFridays (151st) is by far my favorite restaurant.
Yakkosan by the Spanish Monastery is also awesome.
Timo in Sunny Isles great date night restaurant.
Verdaddy's Taco (further south on biscayne) is great but go during the day shady area at night.
There is a chipotle which is yummy and of course hormone free.
163rd towards a1a is kabobji, great Mediterranean food
In Aventura by 200th is a Power Smoothie, there is also a Granny Feelgoods
we used to live in MNB and I loved it I miss it already.

I don't have any recs for you but I do live near Aventura now (since the wedding) and I am discovering it myself. We spend a lot of time on the Hollywood Boardwalk which isn't a far drive from you.

Waxing i go to Vzanz it is located Sunny Isles and i have been going there for about 4 years, if you do go ask for Allina and the number of salon is 305-940-1313.
As for my dogs i used to take them to different places like private groomers but i did not like any of them. I take them to PetSupermarket in Aventura and i am very happy with them.
As for restaurants i love China Grill in Aventura.
Flamma it is a brazilian place on 163rd.
Hiros is my favorite also on 163rd Sushi yummmmmmm.

Yocy, do you have a specific waxer you recommend at European Waxing Center? I go to Olga in Plantation and I swear I feel like I am cheating on her by going elsewhere lol. Thank you for all the restaurant recs, I wondered about that Thai place! I go to Pizza Fusion all the time. I'm excited to try it now...
Jessie, hi! Downtown Hollywood is definitely not far, we are used to that area though since Andrew lives in Hollywood. We should go there more often...
