whoa! Slept for 12 hours. Now I'm late for work.

Great.  I feel like a million bucks right now though.  Being sleep deprived finally caught up to me.

  • Yes

I slept about 12 minutes...sounds like you got enough sleep for both of us!

  • Glad you were able to catch up on your sleep!  Now get to work before the old man notices!
  • Being at the office is such a downer.   We lost 2 people.  Sad

Did you have a hard time adjusting to the time change after your trip? After we got back from Fiji, I'd be up till 3 am every night not able to fall asleep and going back to work blew. I've never had much of a problem adjusting to time changes but Fiji was the worst and someone told me when you travel towards the west instead of east its harder to make the transition back.

Omg yes!  It's so weird!  I stayed up until 5am the first night back and then the second I stayed up until about 3!  It was insane.

Yep sounds like what I went through, guess theres some truth to what I heard. H had no problem surprisingly but it took me about a week to adjust.

  • Geez I hope it doesn't take me that long.  =/

DH had no problem adjusting either, but he does it all the time for work.

  • whenever i come back from asia, it takes me at least a few days to a week to feel OK even if i get enough hours of sleep.

supposedly it takes your body 7-10 days to fully adjust, although you might feel better before then.

I feel sorry for DH.  He had just gotten back from a 3 week trip to Hong Kong, Xiamen, and Manila on Thursday.  We left for vacay on Sunday and then returned the next Saturday to LAX.  Now his job is trying to send him back to HK and Japan tonight but I don't think he's having it and is demanding to leave this weekend instead.  He is almost always surprisingly well adjusted within a day.  Weird.

  • i got very little sleep last night, but that's mostly because i'd gotten a copy of HG at the library and couldn't. put. it. down.

This is precisely why I had to buy mine. But even if you have CF, you still have to wait until NEXT FALL to get book 3 Sad
