Poll: Does your DH wear his ring?
I know this seems like an obvious question, but mine only wears his when we go out to dinner or something like that. He works in construction and I've actually told him not to wear it to work (the pics of what can happen to a hand and finger after getting caught in machinery are horrendous). It doesn't bother me at all. What's your situation??

He wears it all the time. He lost his mangagement ring when he took it off to shower at the gym so he learned not to take his ring off.
I wear my ering all the time. My wedding ring is on my right hand and I keep changing the finger it's on. I might change the ring altogether. I love jewelry though.

He wears his everywhere except work, because he does a lot of manual labor and has also heard/seen horror stories about guys getting the entire finger pulled off. As soon as he gets home, he showers and puts it on.
He is currently looking to get back into a desk job...so if and when he does that, he'll wear it everyday.
He does, every day. He takes it off when he showers, but that's it.
It is, however, a half size too big, and he's already lost it in a pool. Luckily, he and his cousins searched for it and found it, but I'm still concerned about it haha
Exactly the same here. I think he forgot to put it on one morning after his shower and the cleaning lady at his office actually scolded him for it.
He wears it everyday and doesn't take it off (same with me). He works at an office, so has no problem leaving it on.

My DH also doesn't wear his at work. Same reason as yours, he's Navy and it would be easy for the ring (and thus his finger) to get caught on something...plus he's concerned about scratching it all up with all the metal around at his work. I'm with you, I'd rather him not have it on than have him lose a finger.
FWIW, I also don't wear mine half the time at work. I sometimes work on construction sites myself doing environmental sampling. Too easy to hurt my hand or the ring in a place like that.

DH's wears his ring constantly (sleep and shower) except for when he goes to the gym (it tore up his hands to lift weights with the ring on).
I wear mine constantly (sleep and shower in it) except when I am cleaning the house (don't want the chemicals to hurt the ring).
Neither of us wear it to the lake/boating or to the ocean (too afraid we would lose it)
DH wears his all the time, but he CONSTANTLY is fiddling with it. He also likes to slip it off and freak me out, but I know he would be seriously upset if anything happened to it.
I wear my rings all the time, even to sleep/shower. We did both take our rings off in the ocean on our HM due to fear of losing them.

DH does take his ring off a lot. He gets a rash from it so now he's learned to take it off to shower and when he works out and he takes it off to sleep. He forgets to put it back on sometimes. For some reason it doesn't bother me that much that he doesn't always wear it but I try to remind him to put it back on when we're going out.
I only take mine off to shower.
DH wears his out of the house but not at home. His hands swell a lot, so he takes it off quite a bit. He plays with his ring a lot too. On the honeymoon he left his watch at the airport because he took it off. I'm afraid he'll lose his ring too.
I don't wear my ring when I am sleeping or in the shower. The jeweler why wear it then when it's unnecessary wear at night when you're sleeping.
DH is ring is always on. I don't think he's taken it off since I put it on him the day we got married. I can understand why your husband would wear his only to dinner so that he does not bang it up.
Ahh david's ring is a half size too big as well and his slips off all the time. I dunno if you thought of this already but I actually asked the jewelry store that we bought it from if we could get a discount on a new ring that is the correct size and explained that his didnt fit anymore since we bought it last fall (it's an alternative metal and can't be sized) and they said if we brought it back in they would replace it with the correct size, no charge. NICE. of course has he gone to do that yet? NOPE.
arg boys.
oh and to answer the question, yes he wears it to work and out and about however he takes it off to shower and sometimes to sleep. he's still not used to it being on all the time I think. and it's too big and he's afraid of losing it down a drain or something. He left it at home when he went camping which was probably a good thing so it didnt fly off in the woods!
I wear mine everyday to sleep and to shower but I'm used to wearing rings and don't find it uncomfortable.
Of course
