Lost my job...:(

Hi ladies,

I just lost my job on Monday due to a layoff and I am in desperate need to find a new one. My husband works part time (full time in the summer) and goes to school full time. I am a Software Quality Assurance Analyst and am looking for a job anywhere right now. I have a couple of recruiters looking for me and I have been online since Monday updating my resume as well as going to job sites and looking around.

If you know of any openings anywhere, I would greatly appreciate it! We live on the west side of town but I am willing to travel up north at this point, I usually look for positions downtown.

 Thanks

Re: Lost my job...:(

  • I am really sorry Kimberely.  I will keep my eyes open for leads.

    Hang in there!

  • I work for UnitedHealth Group, and they often have other opportunities available in the Indy area.  Their website is www.unitedhealthgroup.com, and you can search by geographic area.

Good luck- things always end up working themselves out in the end!

  • I so sorry hon :( I lost my job memorial day weekend and I am still searching. I hope the recruiters can help! I think Eli Lilly had some tech positions open when I was looking.

Have you looked at Aerotek's website? I want to say that do IT as well as other science positions. I also found Dice.com to have a lot of tech positions.

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • That totally sucks- I'm so sorry! I hope you find something really fast!!
  • I'm really sorry I hope you find something again soon. I know the processess are slower but you might want to look at the colleges/universities and government positions... good luck!
  • A place to look might be adesa.com

I saw a couple of positions that were looking for quality analyst people and one might be something that would be a fit for you.  Just a suggestion.

  • Not Sure what spots we are hiring for but you can try ININ.com

I love the company have been there since March.
