situation while flying SW Airlines

the PP about Southwest airlines reminded me of a story i had to share:

A few months ago my family all went to Vegas for my brothers wedding. Well on our way home we flew southwest and we couldn't all sit together as it was a completly filled flight and we were boarding group C which generally means only the middle seats are left available so chances are all 6 of us would be split up. Well i got to sit 2 rows up from my H and next to my new SIL. DH is sitting next to this chatterbox of a woman who would not shut up. He's a friendly guy so he indulges her conversation. Shes a 40 something married mom who likes to travel alone. (what kind of woman vacations alone in Vegas i ask you) anyways, Sabrina my SIL turns around to ask my H a questions and gets a dirty look from this woman who is annoyed that she interupted their conversation. Then i forget what my DH said to this woman but she replys with "do you want to snuggle?"

I just turn my head and stare at him. he would never do anything behind my back but this woman i wanted to throat punch. So thats what you get when you don't check in early while flying southwest. you very well could be seperated.

just thought i'd share feel free to comment

Re: situation while flying SW Airlines

  • lol... wow... i'd be pretty mad!?
  • Whoa. I can't believe a married woman would say that to a stranger!

BUT in defense of SWA, you could technically get seated next to a crazy on any airline. But SW does increase the likelyhood since you can't even guarantee that you'll sit next to people in your party.
