we just had a hobo spider in our bedroom. ugh. everything sucks right now.

If I were you, I would call a spider exterminator service.  I have no idea how much it costs, but I would pull out a credit card (if needed) and do it.  We had to do this at my old workplace, and the tech said that it would last 2-3 months.  Spiders freak me the hell out.

hahaha I know they freak me out too...I would but 1. I just really don't like to use chemicals...ESPECIALLY with all the pets. and 2. IF we did get bit, we won't die from it.....if there was the potential for it to kill us, i'd call in a heartbeat...so it's just not something that seems worth of using our credit card for thanks, though! really, we've only seen two hobo spiders, so it's not like we're seeing them daily all over the place. i think i'm going to buy a few of those hobo spider traps though and set them up.

I HATE spiders! They would freak be the heck out, too!

When we got our house sprayed for fleas (yes, right when we first moved in!) the landlord used a company that has organic pesticides (because we were worried about our dog, too!). So, I'd look into that...I know there are companies that have them.

uggh!  Spiders, all spiders, give me the heebie jeebies.  Even just thinking about spiders... yuck!  I'm sorry, if it were me I'd be majorly freaking out!  Hope you can find some way to keep them away.  We bought some sort of spider defense that is supposed to be safe for indoor and outdoor, but it doesn't seem to be working very well =(  We have spiders everywhere!
