Ellen as the new idol judge?

I personally was a little bummed when I heard that Paula was leaving the show - her antics were part of what made the show charming and she always had something nice to say after Simon finished ripping the contestants to shreds.
However, I think Ellen is going to be FANTASTIC! I looooove her show and she has such a great, fun-loving personailty. I'm interested in seeing the interaction between her and Simon.
So I guess I'm no longer bummed, haha. See ya Paula!

I love Ellen...but c'mon how much does she possibly know about music? I think it will definitely be interesting. Did anyone watch her judge an episode of So You think you can dance? It was pretty funny.
I don't really watch the show, but I think I'll check it out now that she's on it.
She said on her show yesterday that she sees her position as "the voice of the people". Like how an average American would perceive the contestants. I think that is sorely needed!
Very true...
I like Kara a-lot. I know she is not very well-liked but she knows her stuff. I found myself agreeing with her about everyone this season. Then again, I studied voice all my life so I have a different perspective. Im sure Ellen will not dissapoint.
