Ok, random question - butcher block paper

Does anyone know where I can get butcher block paper in STL?  Its a big huge roll of paper usually 2-4 feet wide and 1000 feet long.  I can find it online, but the delivery charge is a beast.  I was hoping to find it somewhere local.

Any ideas?

TIA Laura

Re: Ok, random question - butcher block paper

  • Silly question - Is it the colored stuff sold at art supply stores or actual butchers paper that happens to be uncut and on a roll?

If it's the colored paper I know you can get it, I'll have to ask my friend where she gets hers (in fact she may be willing to part with part of a roll because she switched her focus to photography)

If it's the actual butchers paper, call Rallo Meat Market in O'Fallon -- they're super nice people and I'm sure they'd be willing to help you out or atleast tell you where they get theirs from...

     Hopefully that helps?!

  • I'm pretty sure that Sam's Club has it back in their section of stuff for restaurant supplies (where the big aluminum containers, napkins, table cloths etc are)

  • If you need to find the colored paper, go to a teacher store like Bradburn's (on New Ballas off of Olive). I would think Sam's or Costco would be your best best economically if you're just looking for plain old butcher paper.
