Poll: Favorite Household Gadget
It's a tough call between my vaccum and my swifer.
I hate seeing things on the floor. Drives me nuts!

Re: Poll: Favorite Household Gadget
The paper shredder. LOL
DH and I create a stack all week of what needs to be shredded and then we run to the office and use it, it's very cathardic and saves space
Hmmm.. Honestly, I've come to dislike the Swiffer. I use the Wet-jet for quick clean up but It just doesn't CLEAN like I would like. Nothing beats "el palo" with a trapo to clean the floor IMHO.. haha. For all of you who don't know what that is, it's a wooden stick with one of those orange absorbent pads on it.
I use my dustbuster ALOT though. So I guess the dustbuster.
I toooootally agree! I cannot clean with anything but this. I use my steam mop every single day for in-between but my good old palo and orange trapo are the only things that disinfect at least once a week.
We have the "cuban mop" but Alexis hates it.
He says it doesn't clean anything and just spreads dirty water.
So we had to buy a mop because apparently he feels better about it.
The wet jet it just for in betweens over here too. I've thought about getting the shark mop but the reviews online worried me.

I had to physically demonstrate that a cuban mop works better than a regular mop to Anthony who shared Alexis' sentiment towards it.
That was a battle I'm glad I won. bua ha ha
The "Cuban Mop" works wonders when used appropriately! You just have to change the towel and refresh the water to make it clean!
My favorite cleaning gadget is definitely our DYSON. I love that thing!! We got it as a wedding gift and I actually look forward to vacuuming. It's amazing!!
I agree about the Swiffer Wet-Jet not being the BEST clean... but it's good for a quick cleaning. Every once in a while, you gotta bust out the "cuban mop". But I have laminate floors, so for some reason the Wet-Jet works really well... I used it last Saturday in the whole house, and it left the floors sprarkling!
But as far as a favorite Gadget... IDK!!! LOL I have so many that I love... My Cuisinart Griddler is great, but so is my Kitchenaide Hand-Mixer... and I also have this 3 in 1 Cuisinart Wand that makes shakes, dices up onions and all other sorts of stuff, and even whisks (with different attachments, of course)... But I also have to say that I love my slow cooker... DH likes it too Or should I say, he likes what comes OUT of it! lol
