frick

I've sat by the phone all day yesterday and today. Yesterday afternoon I called the receptionist and she said that the blood tests weren't in yet, that hopefully they'd be in today. So all day today I sat by the phone and I just called again and it turns out that these particular blood tests they can't process in town, they had to be sent to Vancouver to be processed. So now it looks like next week sometime at the earliest before we get any answers. She didn't know exactly how long it would take, but knew it wouldn't be today. The other tests came back so quickly I was sure we'd hear back right away, but all those ones could be processed at the lab here.

Everything is hinging on these tests- if it's a straight vitamin D deficiency he'll be fine and we can treat it at home. Otherwise...

Re: frick

  • oh god... waiting has got to suck (worse than I can imagine). if you can, try to have lots of fun this weekend with Ethan... playing outside lots and other fun things he enjoys.

    hugs.

  • the waiting is by far the worst.... It's so unfair to leave a mother sitting on the edge of her seat.

Wishing you lots of luck and as much patience as one could possibly have in this situation.

    *hugs*
