Not PG : ) and a Vent

AF is quite late so I thought I'd test today just to make sure because I really don't want to be preg. And thankfully I'm not.

On a totally other note. I am at a new school this year and on Thursday I wore jeans to school. Nice jeans with a nice top. I saw everyone in my wing and no one said anything, saw the principal he didn't say anything and then I walked into the staff room and one of the older teachers says "What's with the jeans?" I hadn't realized this was not a "jeans" school. Both of my other schools were last year and what I was wearing as well within the parameters of appropriate dress there. Aparently this school you can only wear jeans on Fridays. Which would be fine, except... you can wear worn out casual pants,  sweats, etc, every day of the week. I looked much more professional then one of the Grade 1 teachers who looked just a step-up from what most would wear gardening.

Oh and the principal really doesn't care. It's the older teachers who have this "rule" and so he just goes with it.

Re: Not PG : ) and a Vent

  • yay on the not-PG!!! Maybe it's late because you're stressed starting at a new school?? Anyways that's kind of annoying that nobody told you the "rules" about no jeans!! Oh well at least you're allowed to wear them on Fridays!!!
  • Stress can definitely play around with your cycle. I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon.

How frustrating about the "dress code" at your new school. Hopefully you'll be able to figure out all the unwritten rules quickly.
