So much for progress...

I have been up since 2:00 am, trying to get this kid back to sleep. ?He's fed, changed, rocked, you name it. ?Apparently, he thinks it's time to play. ?I haven't made eye contact or said a word to him- all the lights are out and he's been in his crib for over a half hour fussing- not crying yet (though I hear that coming soon...). ?Why why why does my child hate sleep so much?? ?I've read all the books; I've tried it all. ?This weekend we will start a little bit of CIO- not full force, cause I don't believe in it. ?But he's old enough and he needs to figure it out at night. ?

Re: So much for progress...

  • Has he started any new physical skills like crawling/rolling/sitting up? That might be why he's awake. This might be a result of stopping swaddling too, he could need a few days or a week to get used to it. If you think about it, now his crib's this giant open space! GL ?
  • I dont have any answers but for your mental sake i hope it ends soon!  lol  This must be driving you batty!?
  • Ugh...that sucks....I hope you got him to sleep finally....
  • Sorry you are having trouble getting him to sleep :(
