epocrates - I'm a nurse and I use it to look up drugs if I don't have a drug book handy - not free but useful.
Sol Free - solitare
WMMR - local radio station
DH has taken control of my touch for one app, and one app only:

I have a lot that are listed above but also:
Parallel Kingdom - great easy to learn game that is overlayed on the real world map. Really fun when their server isn't acting up.
Lux Touch - Just like the risk board game where you play against 5 computers. I've heard their paid version actually sucks.
All Recipes - easy way to search the recipes availble on their regular website
Sherwin Williams ColorSnap - take a picture and the app tries to match paint color with a pixel you select in a picture.
FS5 Hockey, Mancala or Touch4 - all great and can play with DH over wifi.
MyGov - easy listing and way to contact your reps. Also shows current bills. The best part though is it breaks down what funding went to what states and who championed it.

Bluey, you use P Tracker too. I love it! Dh has the companion to it on his phone. After getting my IUD I had created my own tracker in excel but once I got the Iphone and found an app for it I had to have it. Way easier then my spread sheet.

Brilliant post! That is the first thing I thought of when I noticed this board, it will surely be asked ad nauseam.
