Kanye/Taylor drama aside, I'm actually pretty impressed with last night's show - daresay it was the best one since 2001. The performances were awesome - esp. Lady Gaga, Pink, and Beyonce. How the hell was Pink able to sing with all the gymnastics?? Britney, take note.
And apparently Pink had to be escorted away from Kanye by security. Ha.
AND OMG. I got chills during the MJ tribute and Janet "Scream" performance. Chills dammit.Awesome to see some kickass choreographers in the performance including Wade Robson and LauriAnn Gibson. And the trailer for "This Is It" -- wow. MJ seemed remarkably full of spirit and drive in the days before his death.

I agree! I also thought it was a very good show. I was some what surprised because I went into expecting it to be lame light it has been for the last few years. I was expecting more from the tribute though. It was very good, yes, but I just thought there would be more famous faces.
I had seen some clips of Michael a couple days before he passed and he looked great and sounded really good. He looked poised for a comeback and "This Is It" is going to be good.
Thank god Pink's pasty stayed in place. We would have had another wardrobe malfunction!
