I'm watching Tacky House on Style (never knew it existed before). This crazy woman designed her whole room around her wedding bouquet. There are wedding photos everywhere and the rest is all red, orange and hot pink with crazy patterns.

The thing that's bad though is that she's so proud of her room. They told her they were recording "My Awesome Room" and she was describing everything and she was so excited. Then they came in and were like, actually, your room is tacky. And now she's crying. She said she likes having everything about the wedding because it was a good day and they paid a lot of money for the pictures.

I feel bad for her. There are definitely crazy things about the room, but the way they told her was mean. Poor girl.

Well since I just got home from happy hour that was precipitated by a bad day, I can feel bad for her, too.  Setting someone up for failure is not fun, and totally not cool. Maybe her room is tacky, but it's definitely not nice to lead them on and shut them down. I'm way over-analogizing this to what happened to me today, but oh well. I'm sad for her and for me.

I decorated my dining room in pale pink and black and white damask. Wedding shrine rooms are frowned upon? : ( 

 

Just kidding. I don't have a dining room.

Leigha - what is going on???

Mamie - but as soon as you get a dining room you'll decorate it with wedding colors and photos?

I mean, the room was bad. It looked like orange and hot pink threw up everywhere. None of the patterns went with each other. But they were mean to her. (She liked her new room better.)
