Hairstylist Rec's South Suburbs

I love the girl who cuts my hair, but I just can't afford $70 for a cut (plus tip) every time I want a haircut! Plus, she's not that close to me.

So, anybody have a good stylist in the south 'burbs? Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park etc? I'd be ok with going a little further if the cut is great, I am just really too cheap to pay almost $90  for a freaking haircut!

I go to a girl named Yasmin. She just moved to the Fantastic Sam's on 96th & Pulaski in Oak Lawn. She's young, but she does really good work.

I'm not sure that her pricing is that much lower than what you've got now, but check out Katie Angone at Strands in Oak Lawn. They used to be on 95th across from The Paragon. The recently moved to 103rd between Kostner & Cicero. I forget how much she charges for a cut. I just went to her Thursday, but she didn't charge me for the cut b/c I was donating my hair to lock of love.

Thanks for the recommendation! Are you in Evergreen or Oak Lawn? I used to live in Oak Lawn over by the hospital....then got married and moved about 2 minutes away to EP.

Also ignore the comment about Katie's pricing. She charged me $100 for color & highlights, so I'm sure her cut prices are reasonable. I don't think I've ever gone to her for just a cut since I always get color and/or highlights too. I would call & ask what her pricing is, but I know she's out of town this week. I'm sure the receptionist will know.

 I am in desparate need of a cute cut. My hair is long, but thin and very blah! I'm kind of scared to cut it b/c It's taken me so long to grow it out, but then I see people with cute short cuts and change my mind.

Than Katie is your girl. Thursday I finally got my hair cut after growing it out for the past 4 years to donate it. It was very long, thin & blah. She cut it all off for me & gave me a very cute short cut & awesome color & highlights. It actually looks thick now.

I go to Enve Salon near Archer & Harlem.

It's at Archer and Newland, right across from Archer bank.

I get great hair cuts.  My color and cut is a little under $100.
