Anniversary dinner

Hello ladies,

Our one year anniversary is quickly approaching and we wanted to go to a nice dinner in the Los Angeles/Pasadena area.I'm stuck on which restaurant to choose. We love Italian and steaks!  I would say our budget is around the $100-150 for the night. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Re: Anniversary dinner

  • There's a great romantic restaurant in Pasadena we love called Santorini.  It's Mediterranean-Italian and definitely in that price range.

I also like Le Grande Orange, on Raymond Ave.  It's in a converted train station, with really funky decor.  Great homestyle food like mac and cheese, also good steaks.

  • Not really the Pasadena area, but in Mailbu, there is a restaurant called Moonshadows. That has, by far, been my favorite spot to date. The restaurant hangs off the cliff along PCH. Big windows so that no matter where you sit, you've got ocean view. Just waiting for a table was nice. A small area outside the lounge area sits you right over the water.

Also, there's the Odyssey in the Valley and Castaways in Burbank. Both have very beautiful views since they sit on top of hills.
