Anyone using it? Thoughts?
To me it doesn't seem that much different then Vista, except for the obvious, my machine runs better.
Re: Windows 7 beta?
my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks
I've been running the Windows 7 release candidate on my hubby's computer for several months and I liked it so much that I bought the upgrade a little while back for $50.
I don't know how much the upgrade will retail for, but imho it's both stable and worth looking at. I don't use Vista, even the university I work at doesn't run Vista, but it's definitely worth it if you're running XP and you know that your computer can handle it.
I like it, it's definitely a lot faster than Vista, although there are still somethings that annoy me and that I'm finding it hard to get used to. I really hate the whole pinning/unpinning things to the task strip (although I am thrilled I can now resort my items on the task strip without a third party tool).
