1. I couldn't sleep last night because I am so excited about Ella coming home tomorrow..
2. Did I mention it looks like Ella is coming home tomorrow

Sam - LOL
1. We leave on Friday to go to my parents. I have 1001 things to do before we go - so remind me why I am going to happy hour with co-workers tonight?
2. This morning at Starbucks, I ordered a grande mocha. The barrista calls out "tall mocha!" and hands me a venti.
3. We seem to be making some headway with potty training. WHOO HOO! (and thank goodness.) Dum-dums seems to be key. Who knew.
4. Today was a rough morning getting out of the house. Carter refused to get out of his pjs since he wanted to wear them to school. I totally understood the desire.
5. I am excited to have a mini reunion with my best friends from high school this weekend. Some of them I haven't seen in 6 years. It is so weird that 4 out of 5 of us are married and between us we have 6 kids.
6. I had a burger from Fudruckers last night. OHMIGOSH...it was so good. Much better than 5 Guys.
7. I need to work on my data entry today. Blech.
8. I had very disturbing dreams last night. Ugh. But I didn't have to get up with a kid all night! WHOO HOO!
9. I hope our visit to my parents is as relaxing as I want it to be. The weather looks like it is going to be perfect. The kids are excited to go to the beach, ride in the electric car, and eat my mom's birthday cake!
10. Somehow the garage fridge got left opened this weeked and we lost $100 worth of food in there. UGH.
1. I had a terrible night's sleep
2. I feel like crap today
3. I got a muffin from Dunkin this morning
4. I have to go to bed so early now
5. I'm a little worried about my boss thinking I'm becoming a slacker - it's hard to do my best work when I feel so sick and tired
6. Our midwife appt is on Monday. I'm so excited, but also wonder if we'll get any peace of mind - it's probably still going to be too early to hear a heartbeat on a doppler, and I doubt they usually do an ultrasound so early. I may request one, just so we can see something substantial. I worry so much about the baby being okay.
7. We're going to see U2 this weekend - I LOVE them and can't wait, I just hope I can make it through...big long nap that afternoon to prep!
8. I'm glad I bit the bullet and bought jeans in a size larger. I'm so much more comfortable, and let's be honest, I'll have a better chance of fitting in these post-baby than my old size.
9. C has been so amazing with taking care of me when I feel crappy. I would have been late for work many times already without her helping me get out the door

2. C got me a new IPod nano for our anniversary. I'm kind of excited but kind of bummed it isn't a touch.
3. but i am way too cheap to spend another $100 on the touch I'd want (32GB).

5. I stayed home yesterday and spent 3 hrs on email on my sick day and am STILL so behnid
6. My big pro-sem class starts tonight.
7. I get stressed thinking about picking a dissertation topic.
8. But it is exciting.
9. I had a brownie this morning. I haven't eaten much since Sun so I am oK with this.
10. I want new fall clothes.

2. i reconnected with some old friends recently and i'm really happy about it

4. i think we may skip movie night tonight...there's nothing out i want to see (except for inglorious bastards, but its not at a convenient time)
5. i have a mediation thursday that i'm nervous about. i'm not a fan of this account and want it resolved so much.
6. we're babysitting all day saturday, including bringing the LO to Rosh Hashanah dinner w/ A's fam...should be interesting!
7. we have a super busy weekend coming up
8. i want october to get here now. i hate all this waiting.
9. yesterday i made a huge pot of chicken soup and today i'm makign a big batch of chili. the freezer will be stocked!

1. We didn't get a call from our SW yesterday. I have no idea what happened in court and am so upset.

2. After a really crappy day yesterday I treated myself to decaf starbucks this morning.
3. I have some very generous friends supporting me in my fundraising efforts.
4. The NT scan yesterday made me very happy and made this pregnancy very real.
5. Even K loved the NT scan which makes me even happier.
6. I have more work to do than I can possibly get done this week. I see a few late nights coming up.
7. Someone put blueberry muffins in the staff room and they are awful.
8. Whenever I drive K's car I turn the music up louder than I do in my own car.
9. I devoured said crappy muffin
10. My coworkers are really great.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. I went to the local zoo for a field trip today (my college class) and it was AWESOME! We got to see all kindsa behind-the-scene action.
2. I ate monkey chow.
3. I'm going to work out in about an hour and I'm excited! I love this phase of exercising (3rd week in) when it doesn't hurt as bad but I'm not yet burned out on it.
4. I'm getting all A's so far this semester!
5. One of my dogs has an owie
I just found it- a circle, just smaller than a quarter where she has been licking it raw. Don't know what thats about, but I'll have to take her to the vet in case its a fungus or something.
6. We've had 2 box fans for like...ten years. One we use every constantly (almost never gets turned off) and the other we only use if we have over night guests. The first one died, so we switched to the other one, then it died! So K bought a new one, plugged it in, and one piece of the fan broke off and it jumped around the room and fell over.
7. The other dog has an owie, too. Some sort of growth that he licks at constantly and it bleeds all over! Poor thing. He had a check- up last week and the vet said it was benign, and not to worry about it. I'm sorry- I want it removed! He got on our bed and it looks like a murder scene in there!
8. I'm very chatty today.

10. I'm thrilled that Ellen is going to be an Idol judge! I didn't watch last season, but I'm coming back for her!!

2. I'm at my office job - Nesting from work for the first time!
3. Our condo should be officially listed by Friday.
4. We have an open house scheduled for Sunday.
5. I really need to book a hotel for our beach weekend--THIS WEEKEND!
6. I'm so looking forward to spending the weekend at the beach with C. We really need it and it will be a celebration of our hard work getting the condo ready, a last hurrah before I start another year of grad school and a marker of the end of the last cycle before we start TTC.
7. In the last week I've had meet-and-greets with 3 midwives that attend home births. They were all great but two were amazing! I'm going to meet one more before we start TTC and then decide once we're pregnant.
8. It's crazy how close we are to TTC.
9. I like my new office job and the other 3 people here have made me feel very welcome.
10. I have a lot of "on hold until the condo's done" stuff to do, including blogging, getting my research papers done and studying for my big childbirth educator exam.
1. it is so not tuesday anymore. and i never even posted on last week's ttt.
2. i have been so swamped at work it's not even funny.
3. we've spent the last two nights doing baby-related things. monday night we met the pediatrician, and last night we had a baby care basics class.
4. i want to get the nursery painted by the end of this weekend.
5. i would love to also have the crib put together by the end of this weekend, but i'm not going to be upset if that doesn't happen.
6. the invites have gone out for our showers. eek!
7. why oh why did i look at the camera i want online last night? i didn't need to know that the price has dropped!
8. i'm having fun playing with my new lens.
9. i got a really awesome picture of my sister (who never lets me take pictures of her, but humored me the other day). i really want to share it, but i don't know if she'd be okay with that. maybe i'll post it in a password-protected post on my blog...
10. i thought of a project to do for my friend with cancer to try and keep her spirits up. i've gotten another friend to agree to help me, and i'm hoping i can pull it off.
9: please do! i always love to see your pics - and i've considered doing the same on mine w/ some adorable baby pics i took w/ the 50mm a couple weeks ago.

thanks! i'm glad you like the pics. i'd love to see some of yours! sometimes it's hard to tell what people like since i don't get tons of comments or anything, so i end up rambling on. i'm not even sure who all is actually even reading the blog!
i think the project will be good and will really cheer her (even if it is a bit cheesy), it'll just be some work on my part. really what i'm hoping is that i can get it going well enough that i--or other friends--can keep it up once the baby's here. i ran it by c and the other friend, and they both seem to think it's a good idea. i might share it on my blog once i get it going if it works the way i want.
well you are on my reader so i read every post
i am very bad about blog commenting, and i apologize for that, i just never feel like i have anything interesting to add!
