what should I bring home for my ridiculously sick husband to eat
He's been sick to his stomach since last night. He's finally out of bed a little. I think the chicken soup didn't sit well either. I'm thinking I'll just get some gatorade on the way home and make him eat some plain rice and/or applesauce?
Re: what should I bring home for my ridiculously sick husband to eat
How about crackers? My hubby loves Ritz and flat ginger ale when he can't keep food down.
I also make him beef broth from scratch, which he really likes. But not chicken broth. Weird, I know.
Anything from the BRAT family. Bananas, rice, applesauce, or toast. Gatorade would be good if he can keep it down. I'm not a soda drinker but I like Gingerale when I'm sick.
My Cooking Blog
Gingerale and Propel! Propel water is like gatorade but doesn't taste as sweet.
What about toast with a slice of cheese?
Hope he feels better soon!
