Water's Edge- Westbrook
My fiance and I are looking at places to have a ceremony, a reception and a place where people can stay. I have heard some very mixed reviews about Water's Edge. Has anyone recently attended a wedding there or even held a wedding there? I'd like to hear about people's experiences with this site.

I would ask on the knot board, there's a few girls that are getting married there and some that have gotten married there already.
They might be able to help a little more.

This is a really delayed response, but I got married at Water's Edge in 2008. I loved everything about it. It was a little bit pricier than some other locations we looked at, but the location and everything that was included was well worth it. The wedding planner Antonella was amazing (I recently heard that she's not there anymore, so I'm not sure how good/bad her replacement is), we got a complementary room the night of our wedding (it was a great room with a great view), cake included, open bar included, pictures on the beach (which was a huge request I had!), and we got a free gift certificate for dinner on our 1 year anniversary (including absolutely everything.. appetizers, dinner, dessert, drinks, etc).
Check out my married bio for some more info, but I would highly recommend it there. I didn't have one complaint!
