I have excellent news for you (and anyone else suffering from chronic heartburn/acid reflux).
Prilosec OTC is a miracle drug. You can take up to 2 a day, depending on when your symptoms are the worse. I took one on Sun night and one on Mon morning and I feel a million times better. I actually slept lying down last night! I plan on taking another one tonight since my reflux affects me mostly at night.
Get the generic brand; it works the same and is a little less expensive.
