Vegas Club Suggestions?
Hi girls,
So I'm planning my MOH's bachelorette party, and she wants it to be in Vegas. MH and I have been there quite a bit, but we don't go clubbing or anything while we're there.
Any suggestions for what clubs, shows, or other entertainment would be fun for a bachelorette party? There will probably be about 10 of us and we'll probably stay near the middle of the strip (Caesar's/Bally's/Bellagio).

I don't know much about vegas clubs, but i would try to see the *** cat dolls or something like that. I went to my H's bach party at a strip cub, and I have to tell you, I had alot more fun at the strip club than any place I went for my bachlorette party!

Encore is apparently one of the hottest new bars in Vegas which is located at the Wynn. There is also that great dualing piano Bar at NY NY which is a great time. We had such a blast last time we were there. Have you checked out this website.
I think the club name is XS and it's located in Encore, which is a part of the Wynn...a lot of celebs go there. If you wanna stay around Caesar's, there's PURE. That's where the PCD lounge is. They perform on some schedule so you'll have to check if you want to see it =] The Bank is the one in Bellagio. It's not too bad either but doesn't feature anything special, like XS or PURE. Just a reg dance club...plays good music, but so does the other two.
Yes, it's XS and it's supposed to be the hottest club. I never go clubbing anymore so I've never been but I hear it's good. However, the line is always ridiculously long so you might want to find out about how to get line passes or maybe get bottle service. It's pricey, but maybe with 10 of you chipping in it won't be that bad.
MH and I actually did go to to Tryst at Wynn, and I hear that XS is supposed to be an even bigger, swankier version of that, so XS is my front-runner at the moment. I'm hoping that with (1) some advanced planning and (2) an all-girls bachelorette group we can avoid the whole line situation. I definitely don't want to spend half our night waiting in line!
XS is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Stayed at the Wynn Encore this past Memorial Day Wkend and it was my friends goal to get in. The lines are ridiculously long... You need a hook-up. Get a limo from your hotel and ask the driver if he can hook u up... That's how we got in...
The club entrance is indoors but the club spills outside where the Encore's European pool is located during the day. The outdoor element made it awesome for me since I was 25 weeks pg and showing... There is a bar on an island in the middle of the pool where there are also blackjack tables.
Usually for bach parties, you can work it and get a hook up to get in. I think there may even be "brokers" who bach parties can call for such hookups... Just tip the person who hooks you up nice.
We almost went to Tryst, also at Wynn, and they offered to let us all in for $20 each since we were a large group of ladies, albeit old ladies including two obviously pregnant ones... LOL...

Thanks for the recommendation! That's a great idea to get a hook-up from a limo driver. I was also thinking about splurging for bottle service -- that gets you in past the line, doesn't it? (The few times I've been to Vegas clubs we've always had line passes from the VIP concierge -- that's how we got into Tryst at Wynn without waiting in line -- but we're not staying at Encore though so I can't take that route this time).

we went for a bach. i LOVE it! and i'm a clubber and go clubbing a lot (well, not so much ever since i got married)
anyway, what month are you going? i love that you can dance in the pool
bank is eh. after going from the spaciousness that is xs, bank was just eh.
i love that you can also sit at xs without having to buy a table! they have plenty of sitting areas to scope out the scene...
oh and the wait actually isn't that long if you get there early. we got free passes ('cause who doesn't give them out these days?!?!?!) and got there at 10 when it opened. yeah the line looked long, but actually, when they say it moves fast, it moves fast! we waited 15 minutes or so. BUT if you hesitate and get in the line later on in the night, then yeah, it'll be a long wait 'cause people are already in the club, if that makes any sense.
if you want to free pass you can just get them at encore.

Yeah, I hear really good things about XS!!! If you're staying at Caeser's then Pure is there and sometimes they allow hotel guests to go through the VIP line. But I'd double check that first. And bottle service is always a sure way to bypass the line!
I wanted to add that if you're looking for something else to do before going clubbing, there's the "Thunder From Down Under" show (never been) and the very jenky but apparantly very popular for bach parties "Olympic Gardens." It's soo dirty and creepy-looking downstairs (where the female strippers are) but then you go upstairs and there's tons and tons of women screaming and cheering for the guys onstage. I do have to warn you though that the guys are very touchy-feely and raunchy there so I don't know if that's what you're MOH wants for a bach party or not.
