Primary Care Doc Recs - Downtown or Central Orlando Prederred

Hi ladies, Anyone care to recommend their primary care doc? I live just south of downtown, so locations in or not too far from my neighborhood would be preferred. (Especially if their waiting list for new patients isn't crazy long). Thanks in advance, ladies! --Diane

I absolutely LOVE my PCP, and I can almost guarantee you could get in within a couple of days if you have an issue and probably not much longer for just a physical.  However, she is more on the east side of town.  She is right on 436 at Aloma.  Her name is Dr. Zahra Promes and she is with Barimo Family Practice.  Their number is 407-678-2400.  She is the only doc I have ever been to that will actually sit there and listen to every concern I have, regardless of how "crazy" it may be.  She's awesome!

I have been going to Family Medical Center for years and really like them. They are off MIchigan and Delaney so not far  from downtown. Their number is 407-843-1620. They have 4 or 5 doctors and 2 PAs. They are all great.

Before moving out to Lake County I went to Southwest Internal Medicine, located by Dr. Phillips hospital and I absolutely loved them there.  HTH, and good luck!

I also recommend Family Medical Center off Michigan and Delaney. I have been going for years as well as my family and most of my office. All of the Drs and PA are great. And they are open every morning at 7:30am for walk ins if you have a minor ailment. And they are open Saturday mornings for a few hours.
