Has anyone been to Myrtle Beach?

Hello ladies!!! I am super excited that my mini vacation is only 2 days away.  Alex and I will be going to Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday and returning on Tuesday... not a long time, but at least a few days away from work and time with the hubster!!!

Has anyone been there, any recommendations, warning, anything you might think of?

It has been a looong time since I've been there and unfortunately I don't have any recs of what to do or where to eat, but I wanted to say try to take a walk on the beach at night.  The stars were so bright and it was beautiful.  Hopefully they haven't added any lights since I've been.    It's a nice place though and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

i was there this summer. we stayed down in surfside beach which isnt too far from there. one of the best seafood buffets is crazy mikes..which is in surfside im sure you can google it. river city cafe is really nice too..they have various locations. a nice place for breakfast is nibils on the surfside pier. always fun is broadway at the beach, which is in myrtle beach. they have the only USA senor frogs, ripley believe it or not aquarium which was great. of course you have to play putt putt once or twice, there are soo many good places to go. hope taht kind of helps you out! also charleston makes for a nice day trip. there is a great place called cupcake there if you make it there.

Thank you for your recommendations, I will keep this post in my folder for  places to see and visit!!!  I would love to go to Charleston, hoping to rent a car and drive there...mmm I love cupcakes!!
