Yes, I am actually that dense and for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Please tell me how to make ringtones. I am so bored with the ones that came with my phone. Thanks!
Re: iPhone and ringtones
If you have a Mac it is easy. Drag the song from iTunes into Garage Band and create a loop for the part of the song that you want as the ringtone. Then send it back to iTunes (I think it is the Share menu) as a ringtone.
me too
I've made a couple with iTunes, but you do have to buy it AS a ringtone and then choose which 15-30 seconds you want to be the ringtone.
I have old school Tetris music as my ring right now!
It is so very easy to make them free with music you already own without having to download anything.
I just did a google search and found a youtube video. I'm at work so I can't get to it now but I'll try to post it tonight.
I just tried this bit it is not working. I am getting the message "song could not be converted because protected files cannot be converted to other formats."
Strip the DRM off by burning it to an Audio CD then re-ripping it as a straight MP3.
"They say with time it gets better. Not true. With time you only get used to it."
