I am here as well! I only really lurk on the knot. I don't really have much to contribute anymore and it seems like the majority of them are getting married in the burbs so I am not much help!

I love that area, there are a lot of great night time haunts and it does seem a lot more relaxed than the loop! A lot of my friends are moving there, and that's a huge selling point if you can actually RELAX once you're home!

yeah, there are a lot of awesome little places to grab "cheaper" bites to eat and cute boutiques. Your area is great for that too though!
hey there! Don't you looooove your pics from LOP!! Did you guys order albums? We didn't originally get them in our package b/c I had great aspirations of doing them on my own and having them professionally printed but alas, I am lazy and do not have 1 printed wedding picture anywhere! I am thinking of going back to them and having them just pick the pictures and make me one.......

Hey Nicole! Good to see you- hope you are enjoying the Oklahoma life! Not going to lie, Chicago is great! Do you guys ever foresee yourselves moving back (or anywhere else) or are you setting down roots for a while?

We'll either go abroad for DH to do another ex-pat assignment (I'm voting for Asia...I'd go for just about anywhere, but it would probably be Shanghai), or move back to Lake Michigan, just around the corner in St. Joe, MI. But that's only 90 minutes from Chicago...I can handle that!
I have to say, Tulsa is wonderful. I love being a home owner and money goes SO far here. Plus, Tulsa-to-Chicago flies direct 8x/day. Can't beat that!

Hey! Yes, I LOVE the photos...aren't you glad you went with LOP, too? They were the first vendor I booked and my favorite!! We did order albums but I haven't picked out the photos yet - oops.
I am slowly working on picking out the photos but it's taking forever because I want to include so many that I just won't have room for. I also don't have one printed wedding picture anywhere - hilarious! I think I got lazy just because we have the CD of the photos so I know I'm not in a time crunch to order pics or anything like that, so I just put it off and keep thinking I'll do it sometime soon. Oh, well. 
I am beyond happy with them! You wouldn't guess it since there is no actual proof. LOL. I too think it is just because I have the cd and know I can print them whenever. We have empty frames in boxes that I need to fill!
