DD#2's Birth Story!

Claire Noelle made her grand entrance into the world on Sunday, Sept. 13th after only 3 hrs. and 45 min. of labor!  Since I had the epidural with Isabel, I wanted to try and go all natural with Claire.  After trying out the whirlpool tub, I decided I was a total wuss and asked for the epidural.  Well, I never got the epidural.  By the time the anesthesiologist got to my room, it was too late (she was literally a second away from inserting it into my back)!  The nurse checked me and I was 10 cm and the baby was crowning.  It was the most painful thing I've ever done in my life, but she was totally worth it!  Isabel is being a great big sister.  She's giving her lots of loving and calling her "my baby" all the time.  She did have one major meltdown this morning, but that's to be expected.  My recovery has been awesome (just tired)!  Such a different experience from the 1st time!  Here are a couple of pics of Claire...
