If you won $1000 today...

DH's employee just won $1000 on a scratch off ticket.  If you won $1000 (let's assume tax free, for the fun of it) what would you do with it??  And you can't put it into your savings account...it has to be something FUN!

 

My answer:  I would put it towards 2 plane tickets to Spain to see my Mom.  If my Mom wasn't in Spain anymore, I would...plan a quick all inclusive trip to Mexico!

I've been wanting to upgrade my DSLR for some time but can't due to DHs job situation.  I would UPGRADE baby!

Stuff for the baby's room:  Crib, dresser, the rocking chair I want, fabric for the curtains and other decor.

I'd use it to go to the Netherlands to visit my parents for Xmas. That would be one less ticket to buy.

I'd buy some furniture for the living room (we're saving up for a couple chairs and a big bookcase) and put the rest towards the wedding. I just took 1k i had saved up for the wedding and paid bills with it... so it would be nice to have that back.

Hmmm . . . I think I'd split it between Jeff and I and hire personal shoppers.  We can update our wardrobes.

Or we could put it towards the adoption fee and supply set up costs of getting a dog.  And donate what's left over.
