...I understand your addiction to the show.

Hubby & I just started watching Season 4 (yes, we are behind!--started watching a couple of months ago) but LOOOOVE the show. What season will be starting this fall? I want to go visit the Lost sites the next time we're in Oahu!

This is the 6th season and is the last one and will be starting in February or March.  I think it was from season 4 that they decided to shoot a shorter season and start it in the spring instead so that they wouldn't have to show any reruns?  When season 4 ended, I felt like season 5 would never come, lol!  The first thought after the season finale ended was, 'What???  I have to wait almost a whole year??'   

They're already filming though so that makes it seem like not too much longer away! 

So who would you choose?  Jack or Sawyer?

So, it doesn't start until Spring? At least we have two more seasons to watch. I noticed that there are less episodes in season 4 so i'm going to have to make them last! Gotta limit myself!

Hmm...jack or sawyer. In the beginning, I would've said Jack, but his unrealistic doctoring (really? can do spinal surgery, deliver a baby, and fix a vision problem) has gotten to me. No wonder people have skewed views of doctors and even nurses (you're a nurse--can you tell me what's wrong with this? why is this happening? what can i do? sorry, i don't know EVERYTHING!!!).

Sawyer is a little too rugged for me...hehe..so in the end, I must say Jack.

(oh, btw....why did Charlie have to die? Couldn't he have ran out of that little room with the yellow blinking light and shut the door behind him so he and Desmond could've BOTH surivived?)

So glad you brought this up.......MH and I never got into that show.  And so just recently we got into it.  We just finished season 1.  Sad huh?  But wow.....what a show.  Sometimes it dragged on and then sometimes I couldn't keep my eyes off of it.......so I guess I will NOT be looking at anymore LOST threads so I don't spoil anything.

I love Lost, and have seen every episode from the beginning. Even through the not as good seasons. It's probably ALOT better to watch them on DVD, because then you can watch them straight though, and not get annoyed with LONG hiatuses.

I would definitely recommend getting caught up right before the last and final season airs. Since they have begun airing them without repeats, I think it keeps viewership higher. 

 And to answer the question about Jack or Sawyer, after Season 5, you might change your mind!

Oh, and SPOILER for those that haven't seen past Season 3 or 4

 

 

Charlie had to die because it was his destiny, as Desmond kept seeing the inevitable. Charlie actually could have died earlier, had Desmond not tried to stop it. But his death plays a HUGE role in the next season with Desmond and Penny, and kind of gets the ball rolling for what the show has become. I think Season 5 has the best episodes of Lost!

I am definitely a Lostie too.  I watched the first 2 seasons on DVD & the rest I have watched live.  I kind of wish I had just watched the entire series on DVD after it was all over just b/c it is a lot to remember & the hiatuses are soooo long.  It does feel like it has been forever, but I am very excited about the last season.  I hope it ends well...it isn't all a dream or something kind of lame!

Hehe, yeah, wait until the later seasons and you just might change your mind about Jack/Sawyer I started out all for Jack, then all for Sawyer

I'm still all for Jack and have watched all seasons religiously.  Jack had a lot to deal with all at once during his lost vacation.  While Sawyer has had years to figure himself out and deal with hi traumatic circumstances; which made it easier for him to see the bigger picture while they got lost.  I still believe that Jack is the missing piece to the puzzle.  Everyone else has pretty much surrendered and come to terms with their destiny except Jack.  I can't wait to get lost again and see the final season.  I also hope that it's not a lame ending either

Can't wait for this last season to start already... I want answers!!!  Hahaha!  I think this past season finale has been my favorite so far.  I'm so tempted to go back and watch the seasons on DVD; I've heard that you catch a lot more stuff/innuendos when you watch the episodes back to back.

 

I vote for Jack... I think he & Kate are both crazy enough that they deserve each other.  Besides, I really like where Sawyer "is" right now!
