Fantasy football- wwyd?

I'm starting Flacco at QB.  I'm debating starting Mark Clayton in a WR/flex spot because he has a good matchup this week.  I'm nervous though- if Flacco has a bad game, it gurantees that Clayton has a bad game.

I have Anquan Bouldin in a flex position now, but I'm thinking about putting him on the bench in favor of Ryan Grant.. Grant isn't going to be a stud, but Anquan isn't 100% healthy, plus his QB is a little questionable IMO.

What would you do?  I can only start two of these guys, and the rest of my lineup is pretty much set.  Which two guys would you start?

Re: Fantasy football- wwyd?

  • I have Mark Clayton and he is projected to get almost 15 points this week vs. San Diego, so I would play him.

I would also play Ryan Grant because he looked pretty good against the Bears last Sunday. He is a solid player and I don't think you could go wrong with him.

If you unsure still. Just go on Yahoo or whatever you use to see what they are projecting for the week. I am in a league on Yahoo and you can ask questions like this in the "Ask the Yahoo Fantasy Experts Column" in the "Football 09" catagory after you first log in.

  • Thanks for your input.  I'm nervous about starting Clayton but even my cowrokers are yelling at me to start him.  Except for one, he says it's a "jinx" to start a QB and WR on the same team.  Ok, I think I'll take that chance though.

As for Grant, he's capable of breaking one and having a huge game, but you just never know when.. GB is more of a passing team so I don't know how many opportunities he will get.

I use Yahoo, but their projections were WAY off last week. I also use CBS and fftoolbox.. Thanks for the tip on Yahoo, though.  I'll have to go ask the experts!

  • No problem! I know that the projections are off most of the time. I had Philly's defense last week and who would have thought that they would have scored as many points as they did?! I also have the Jets defense and was debating whether to put them in instead. My gut told me to go with Philly and thank god I did! Sometimes you have to listen to your gut instinct! That is another piece of advice I can offer! Good Luck!
