I need to vent a little

I'm upset but then again I'm not. I am mad that we might not be going on vacation in 2 weeks b/c DH has been working nights and he might not get appoved b/c he is one of the only ones on that job that can run all of the machines. But then again this might be the last job that our company gets for awhile so we need to make all the over time he can get. *big sigh* we haven't been on vacation since our honeymoon 2 years ago.

P.S. my anniversary is next Tuesday and my DH won't be home that night either. So we only have one night to celebrate which is this saturday and since he has to work Friday night he's going to be sleeping all day Saturday. Then back to work sunday night.

Money money money=lonely wife.

Okay I'm done I just had to vent b/c I miss my hubby. Thanks for letting me share.

Re: I need to vent a little

  • Aww honey I'm sorry :( I know it sucks...especially when he has a demanding job that he HAS to be there for. Try planning a "stay-cation" (I saw it on Army Wives (LOL!). If you can't go to the beach, bring the beach to you...just don't make oysters (another Army Wives reference).  ;)

    Hope you feel better soon.

PS: I wrote on your blog

I watch Army Wives too. lol I love that show. We were going to do a stay cation and go to the beach and what not, we just wanted some days off to relax. Then we decided to go camping.

  • I kind of know the feeling... DH started a Business back in January after being laid off 3 times last year, and it's been really hectic... The other night, he got home at 11pm... It's not really that bad all the time, but he's always on the phone, or on the computer, and I wish we could spend more time together... But don't worry, before you know it, you'll have him all to yourself :)
  • Totally hear you on the DH working thing. It gets to you after awhile, but if it's for the better (helping w/ finances) then it's easier to justify. Hope you get some more quality time with him soon.
