major baby fever. Please remind me how hard it is to be a mom and how I can't do it right now because.. umm.. I have no job in a week and a half.
Because part of me jusrt does not care.... Especially when I see your chubby cheeked little muffins in your siggys.
Sigh.
Re: I have...
It is REALLY hard, I'm not gonna lie. ?But it is the BEST "job" I've ever had in my life! I do have to say, there's never going to be the "perfect" time. ?But of course, not having a job at all is certainly reason enough to wait!
If you want to come hang out with Ben, say around 3 am tonight, I might be able to help solve your baby fever...?
Haha.. that might just cure it.
I saw a commerical for a new show where they have these young couples who "really want babies" and they have them care for an infant, then a toddler, then a young child and a teen... and I think even an adult (not sure I get that part) I guess the point is to show them how hard it really is and to get them to change thier minds.
Can't tell you how hard it is to be a mom but I am happy to tell you how much it sucks to be pregnant and how psychotic your MIL is.
Seriously, I feel like total and complete crap alll day long then Bev calls "are you in labor?" "uh, no?" "ok, well I'm going to call every day until you are" "gee thanks mom that helps"
I know it's not the same, but you are welcome to come over anytime you want a baby fix this summer and as soon as they do something disgusting like puke or poop, you get to hand them back to me
HAHA, Allison- I am so sorry. Brian says your mom is probably convinced that you will not call once you do go into labor.
I will gladly come visit my little neice a nephew. But I would find it more amusing to hand them to Jason when they poop.
Katie, I COMPLETELY feel your pain (errr, fever). I think all you nesties with ridiculously adorable pics and stories of your little ones are to blame. I blame ALL OF YOU!!!!! Hehe... anyway, as Jeanette said, it's NEVER gonna be the right time. However, you and your DH are smart, hard working people with a nice home and a lot of love between the two of you. You will find a way to make it work. If you and him feel you're emotionally ready, the rest will fall into place. Also, there's a reason you're pregnant for nine months! Plenty 'o time to prepare physically and financially
I think your 1st anniversary weekend is a GREAT time to start trying, don't you? *wink*
Oh wait, i'm not helping, am I?
PS - I think that show is BULL. Other babies' poop and puke gross me out. Your own baby is a different story... watching some other kid can't possibly prepare you for the hardships OR the beauty of caring for your own child. Just my opinion
Oooooh, I'm not calling when i go into labor. She gets a call when they arrive.
Haha! Just make sure to call me.
LMFAO. I love you.
Oh, Katie,
It is hard being a mom, but its totally worth it! I don't know when the last time I got 8 hours of sleep in a row, probably November 2007
But Owen is worth every wakeful night!
I like the way Shannon put it, your time will come. Is it bad that I am excited that you and Beth both have baby fever??
