My birthday is November 1st and I've been tossing around the idea of having a costume party on Halloween to celebrate.  I've mentioned something to a friend about my idea and she said: aren't we to old to be dressing up for Halloween?

So here is my question.... Is 26 to old to be dressing up for a fun, cocktail halloween/birthday party?

No way!  We have been dressing up every year and we are all between 29 and 31.  Sometimes we do a party, or sometimes we go to the bars in the city.  One year we did an 80's theme party and it was so much fun!  I say go for it!

H*** No! That would be awesome. I love when we have dedicated plans for Halloween or New Years, it saves me from having to plan something myself. Your friends will prob love it.

No way, I never want to stop dressing up for Halloween! I, too, would love being invited to a fun adults cocktail costume party!

I agree, no way is 26 too old to be dressing up.  We have a Halloween party every year, and its one of the biggest parties, because all our friends are so excited to come out and dress up.  I am 29 and the people that come to the party (family members and friends) range in age from 23-39! Everyone dresses up!

Thanks Everyone!!!  I am starting to make plans now.  If my "i'm to old for this" friend doesn't want to come to bad for her!  I'm excited again.

I hate dressing up since I am not creative enough to come up with a good costume, but I have gone to more costume parties since I turned 30 than I had in my teens and 20s.

Absolutely not. You are never too old for Halloween. (Trick or treating, yes, but dressing up/partying no!)
