(Edit) I WILL be...

...running inthe Run Like Hell 1/2 marathon next month! WooHoo!

I'm visiting my BFF who lives near Seattle, and she wants to run it, so I said "sure...why not?" even though I haven't trained (but I will, and run marathons before so I know the hell I'm getting myself into...yikes).

She just has to work out childcare, so it's pending. Super excited to run through Portland, though!

  • I've been working toward this race!! I am up to 8 miles out at a time. I know that I have just shy of 5 weeks to get to 13.1 miles, so that freaks me out. Especially since I hurt my left calf, I haven't been out running more than 3 times in the last almost 3 weeks. I have a LOT to do between now and this race.. ahhh!

How exciting! Hopefully your calf heals soon. You really just need to do 10 for your longest run...after you do 10, your body can do the 13.1!

Guess I'll see you in Portland!

I think that's awesome!!! I am NOT a runner by nature...trust me! But I did my first 1/2 a few years ago to prove to myself I could do it, and I did! So, GO DAISY! Keep it up!
