What's for dinner??

I am making panko chicken, twice baked potatoes, and stuffed mushrooms.  Yum.

Re: What's for dinner??

  • Yummy!  I forgot to pull anything out of the freezer, so I have no idea what to make.  I really want Lou Malnati's, but I don't know if we can afford it Sad

  • That sounds delish.  I have had some serious Lou's cravings too.  Hope you get it!

  • Tango Sur ... wish a vegetarian gal luck! ;) I'll post a review tomorrow!
  • I love Tango Sur!  We are actually planning to go back soon!  Yeah good luck, seriously!  Its all about the meat there.  Try the cheese or spinach empanadas maybe?  :)

  • Erin-I REALLY wanted Tango sur tonight. So funny.

Frosted mini wheats for me :)

  • DH came home and asked what we were doing for dinner.  When I asked what he wanted, he said Lou's.  Since we hadn't even discussed our cravings with each other, I figured it was meant to be.  The pizza will be here within 30 minutes Smile

  • Yay!  Love how that worked out.  I might have to get that this weekend!

  • I made moussaka last night and it was delicious! It wasn't one of my planned meals, but I wanted to use some cooked hamburger I had, and so I found it in a cookbook. I actually had every ingredient I needed- love when that happens!

We're going out tonight- trying a cheap Polish place called Paul Zakapone- anyone been?

I love moussaka! That is quite the challenge, good for you! My husband is Greek so I get to enjoy all the great eats!

  • Does your husband cook Greek food a lot at home? It was DELICIOUS! My DH just texted me- he is eating the leftovers for lunch (works from home) :)
  • I'm making my first Rosh Hashonah dinner tonight. Chicken soup with matzoh balls, challah that I bought, chicken with pomegranate sauce, roasted sweet potatoes, cranberries and butternut squash and apple cake for dessert.  That's a huge amount of food for 3 people, but the leftovers will mean no cooking for a few days afterwards.

    Nope his family does though!

  • I am purchasing Rosh Hashanah dinner tonight from 11 city diner in the South Loop; brisket, matzah ball soup, potatoes, bagels with lox and challah. I do not cook - I am really good at ordering tho, I got that down pat!

G/L mofree, I hear you on the left overs!
