Makeup Artists

Hi ladies...

I'm a knottie needing a little help. I am searching for a makeup artist without any luck. Do any of you have one to recommend?  My wedding is in Central AL.  TIA

I've been a makeup artist for over thirty years. What you need to do is to visit your favorite makeup counter, find someone whose makeup looks good, and ask for a free makeover, all counters do this, be sure to tell them that you are previewing a look for your wedding. Tell her basiclly what you want, classic, glamour, don't expect anyone, not even Bobbi Brown to know what YOU want to look like on your wedding day so communicate, it's your day, not theirs. I would advise you to stay classic so one day years from now when you look at your photos you won't be thinking "what the hell was that on my eyes"...anyway go and try out until you find an artist and look you like, it may take you more than one makeover to find your person. Many do free lance work and might come to you to do your makeup, you would have to ask. Do not wait until a couple of weeks before the wedding to nail all this down. Preview your hair too....and please, if you have your brows waxed do this days prior. I will never forget a bride coming into the studio with blood red skin all around her eyes...took me forever to get all that covered up.   Good luck.
